Don’t forget this course does not just apply to diving and can be taught to anyone who needs a primary and secondary first aid certificate. You will find many office workers are trained using this course which means you can also use your qualifications outside of diving.

Please note that you will need to keep your EFR training relevant and in-date, this will be region/country specific, so please check carefully of the local requirements for renewal of your Emergency First Aid training.

For example, here in Thailand it is required to renew/retrain every 2 years, whereas some other countries such as Australia will be every year.

How long is the course?

 

The course just takes one half day and is completed in the dive centre. We will complete the course on site in one of our classrooms with one of our in house instructors.

This course is a fully dry course where you will be taught how to instruct on all required first aid procedures and responses.

The course includes, CPR training and simulated use of an AED with the aid of a Little Anne training dummy.

What’s included?

 

The course includes high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, use of all necessary equipment, tea, coffee, water and WIFI use in the dive centre.

You will need to purchase your materials separately at the cost of 3,500THB prior to the start of the course.

There will also be further cost, payable to PADI for the Instructor Application of AU$215.
