HTMS Sattakut / Hin Pee Wee and Pottery on the 22nd Aug’11

The new wreck of the Sattakut has become a very popular diving since its sinking and moving.

Phill was super excited to get down there with the camera too and scampered down the line, snapping a lovely silhouette on the way.

He got a couple of impressive gun shots too – this one shows you what its like to stare down the barrel.

And this one from the side too, you can see there are divers inside from the bubbles escaping or you could believe that the wreck is breathing !   Wilco is teaching a Wreck Specialty course this week and will do some penetration so we can write a little more about what its like inside too.

Phill took lots more photographs too – check out the slideshow…

Great pictures. It’s amazing to see the wreck so full of life already. I can’t begin to imagine what amazing natural treasure will be in store for future generations, all the little cubby holes that create perfect homes for extraordinary inhabitants.
