Our adventures

HTMS Sattakut/Hin Pee Wee and White Rock 15th Feb’12

After another beautiful morning on Koh Tao, we headed out on the boat for 2 dives. The first of which would be on the wreck of HTMS Sattakut and Hin Pee Wee for those who didn’t want to dive the wreck.

For this dive I would be following Daniel and Dioni for the best of both worlds, a quick tour around the wreck and then across the sand to enjoy the coral and fish on the pinnacle. The visibility was not at its best with quite a high thermocline adding to the atmosphere on the wreck. The two guys enjoyed exploring the top deck of the boat and peering into the captains cabin of this decommissioned landing craft, guns and all!

The second dive was beatuiful. The vis was a lot better and the conditions were near perfect.

I would be folowing Frederic on the last dive of his Open Water Diver course. The reef seemed to be heaving with life, Morray Eels, Blue Spotted Rays as well as the usual critters were everywhere for Frederic to enjoy after his last skills of the course.
