Weekly Diving Report – 1st week of June 2020

We just finished another fantastic week of diving and can’t wait to share our favourite moments with you! During this first week of June our Instructors had the pleasure to teach some PADI Open Water Diver courses and we had some Scuba Reviews and fun divers join our trips as well.

When we head out for our diving trips we follow all the regulations which are in place to protect our guests and staff. We reduced our group size even more and the total number of divers on the boat is so low, there there’s plenty of room for some social distancing. In fact, check out our compilation to see how relaxed the atmosphere on the boat is! (And enjoy some impressions from our dives too!!!)

Our dive trips in the past week were mostly to some of the closer dive sites, which are exciting for both, beginner and more advanced divers. When the visibility is as good as it is at the moment, we enjoy exploring those spots together with our guests even more!

We found some of the usual suspects, like this blue spotted ray:

… or this gorgeous banner fish!

One thing that we can see on almost all dive sites around Koh Tao are anemones and their little inhabitants. If you want to learn more about their symbiotic relationship, make sure to check out this article!

Great diving means happy divers and in the last week we definitely saw lots of smiles from our customers under water and back up on the surface!

We are thrilled to see more and more travellers returning to the island and look forward to many more amazing dives over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for the next update on our diving conditions!
