PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course. Diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time, this means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. You can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
You can choose to make two dives or simply just complete the theory portion and opt to dive using Enriched Air Nitrox when the need arises. Most liveaboard companies will highly recommend (or even require nitrox if you’re doing multiple dives across a day, it will also make you feel fresher after a dive and can reduce surface intervals too!
- Discuss managing oxygen exposure
- Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank
- Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox
