PADI Equipment Specialist
Prepare yourself for the basic scuba equipment care, adjustments, and maintenance you’ll encounter every day as a scuba diver.
As a PADI Equipment Specialist, you’ll learn about how your gear works, how it’s repaired, and other information that helps you use, maintain, and protect your equipment investment. Whether it’s a blown o-ring, regulator problem, wetsuit tear, or a broken fin strap, you can learn how to manage basic scuba equipment adjustments and repairs.
You will learn about:
- Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures
- Equipment storage
- Overcoming common problems with equipment
- Recommended professional maintenance procedures
This course includes the PADI Equipment Specialist Touch, a great tool developed for your reference before, during, and after the course.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This non-diving course takes just a day to complete and is an ideal thing to do on your last day of holiday while waiting for all that nitrogen to leave your body before flying home.
The course includes all the elements required for completion: PADI Equipment Specialist now includes the PADI Equipment Specialist Touch reference guide, internationally recognised PADI Equipment Specialist certification card, full equipment use and, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors.

PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
PREREQUISITES – To enrol in this course, you must be a PADI Scuba Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organisation) and at least 10 years old.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
