PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)
Our unique PADI MSDT run every month and have been developed to provide you with additional training and experience, while also developing your teaching techniques and providing you with transferable skills that will set you apart from other instructors. This will really add value to your CV and prepare you for life as a confident and competent dive professional.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The MSDT normally runs over 1 month depending on the instructor certifications you will acquire, with a start date in the days immediately following the completion of the latest IDC programme. For specific start dates, please contact us for further details.
Specialties will be completed in the first week, after which you’ll move on to your team teaches and workshops.
We include training in 5 Speciality Instructor courses. Also included are team teaches on an Open Water Diver course, an Advanced Open Water Diver course, an additional continuing education course as well as some Discover Scuba Diving sessions. These will provide you with 25 certifications, although it is likely you will collect more than this – especially if you are with us during high season.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
There will also be further costs payable directly to PADI for Speciality Instructor fees. These are currently AU$123 per specialty. Should you wish to apply for your Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating, the fee is also payable directly to PADI.
PREREQUISITES – To enroll on our PADI MSDT, you must be an active PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The course is available to all of our IDC graduates, or if you are already an OWSI, you may complete the programme as a standalone course.
You must also have proof of CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months and be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
