PADI Master Scuba Diver
Become a Master (Scuba) Diver at Master Divers!
The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest non-professional rating in the PADI System of diver education. It puts you in the top echelon of recreational divers and means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.
To become a PADI Master Scuba Diver you need the following to attain the rating:
- PADI Rescue Diver certification
- Five PADI Specialty, Public Safety Diver or TecRec courses
- A minimum of 50 logged dives

If you need to increase your logged dives to get up to the minimum requirement of 50 dives, once booked on for your initial Specialty Course we can then register you as an existing customer and offer you our lowest fun dive rate of 800 THB per dive, with nitrox and private guide options available too!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Most people come to us as Rescue Divers and complete their five PADI Specialty Diver courses with us. Contact us and we can discuss options for specialities and we can tailor the course to suit your needs. You can attain your Master Scuba Diver over multiple visits too, so don’t feel constrained on time.
Most PADI specialties take on average 2-3 to complete, you may want a bit of down time whilst on the island or perhaps enjoy some fun diving in between courses, we have lots of options to make your trip as memorable as possible.
We include training in 5 specialities, the most popular are: PADI Wreck Diver, PADI Search & Recovery Diver, PADI Digital Underwater Photographer, PADI Enriched Air Diver, PADI Deep Diver, PADI Night Diver, PADI Underwater Navigator, PADI Underwater Naturalist.
The Speciality courses include all the elements required for completion: internationally recognised PADI Speciality Diver certification cards, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat, tea, coffee, water, and Wifi in the dive centre.
Please note that the cost of the PADI Master Scuba Diver course will depend on the PADI Specialty Courses selected.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
The price varies dependent on which PADI Speciality Courses you choose to take.
PREREQUISITES – To qualify as a PADI Master Scuba Diver, you must be 12 years old, a PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), have a minimum of five PADI Specialty Diver courses and a minimum of 50 logged dives.
MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
