PADI TecRec Gas Blender
This course is a must for every (aspiring) dive professional, making you more employable with greater opportunity to increase your pay.
The PADI Enriched Air Diver is one of the most popular courses for qualified divers and the demand for gas fills increases every day. This course teaches and qualifies you to blend and fill Enriched Air Nitrox up to 100% oxygen. Please note that this is a dry course, so no need to get your gear on!
You will learn:
- about physical properties of oxygen
- associated hazards
- handling requirements
- various methods of blending the desired Enriched Air Nitrox mix
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The typical PADI Tec Gas Blender Course will last 2 days. Day 1 will cover the academics and, time permitting, some of the practical applications. Day 2 will cover the practical applications, such as oxygen cleaning and using gas blending systems.
This is a non-diving course, should you wish to go out diving we can schedule the course to suit your plans. We have fun dive and other specialty options, please let us know if you have any questions about any of our courses!
The course includes all the elements required for completion: your own copy of the PADI Gas Blender Manual, internationally recognized PADI Gas Blender certification card, gas fills, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water, Wifi and internet station use in the dive centre too.

PREREQUISITES – To take this course, you must be a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) and at least 18 years old
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
