PADI Underwater Naturalist
Want to get to the bottom of some of the bizarre behaviour you see from the reef inhabitants?
On this course you’ll not only learn why they practice some seemingly bizarre antics but you learn who gets on with each other, who hangs out together, who hunts together, who guards and who cleans. Everyone has a role and some of the most surprisingly different species will tolerate each other just to get the job done! Understand this and you will realise why the reef system is so fragile!
You will learn:
- The major aquatic life groupings, interactions and factual information that dispels negative myths
- The role of aquatic plants, food chains and predator prey relationships
- Responsible interactions with aquatic life
- The underwater naturalist’s view of organisms and their roles in the environment
You put all this information into practice during your 2 dives on the course and then you will continue to build your knowledge and understanding on future dives after this amazing course.
