Wy has been at Master Divers for many years, he lives on Koh Tao with his lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. Originally from Myanmar, Wy enjoys living in Thailand and Koh Tao and with the work him and his partner do for us, they are able to help support their families back at home.
Wy is a jack of all trades and helps with anything required around the dive centre, his main focus is driving our long-tail and helping fill our tanks via our compressor.
He is genuinely one the loveliest human beings you’ll have the pleasure of meeting, always putting others before himself and helping out the local Burmese community when he can, all with a smile permanently attached to his face, we love Wy and sure you will too!

P. Dong was born on Koh Tao and grew up on the island. His father taught him to captain the family fishing boat at the tender age of 10 years old; at 17 he became a fisherman, a job he continued to do until he became the Boat Captain for Master Divers in 1996. He has been married for nearly 30 years and has 3 children.
P-Dong has been involved with the dive industry on Koh Tao since its infancy (he is also a diver!), and he has been an active participant in the placing of many of the buoy lines around the island. His knowledge of the reefs and waters around Koh Tao have made P-Dong one of the most respected boat captains on Koh Tao. He ensures the Master Divers boats are safe and well maintained to ensure a comfortable trip out to any of Koh Taos dive sites.

Colin is the owner and PADI Course Director at Master Divers, he strives to be a cut above the rest when it comes to quality, service and professionalism across all dives offered at Master Divers.

Colins first dives were in the British army in 1988. After leaving the army he the took it up as a sport, which is where he realized it can be fun as well, then continued to dive around the world for many years before finally completing his PADI Divemaster Course in Koh Tao. he was hooked and headed back to Koh Tao after completing his Tech diving with TDi and PADI and trained all the way through to PADI Course Director with Master Divers.

He’s taught many people to dive, he’s run Divemaster training and staffed IDCs with some of the best dive schools in the world.

He now spends his days as the General Manager, Owner and Course Director of Master Divers and goes fun diving whenever he can.

Meet Jazmine, a friendly face at our front desk who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. While she doesn’t dive every day, Jazmine dedicates six days a week to keeping our office organized. On her days off, you’ll find her enjoying the ocean, either fun diving or joining the night boat adventures.

Jazmine’s journey into the underwater world began at the Bay Islands College of Diving in Utila, Honduras, where she earned her PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced, and Nitrox certifications. She also completed a marine conservation internship during her time there. Her diving adventures have taken her to stunning sites worldwide, with Komodo, Indonesia, Sail Rock in Koh Tao, and Barracuda Lake in Coron holding a special place in her heart.

Before her underwater adventures, Jazmine spent seven years in the healthcare field in New York. She worked in various roles, including direct patient care, healthcare administration, and nursing management. However, the call of the ocean led her to Koh Tao, where she moved in June 2023 with plans to make the island her home for the long term.

Originally from upstate New York, Jazmine’s love for exploration has taken her to Arizona, Florida, Utila Honduras, and various corners of the globe. She often enjoys van life and tent camping adventures in the US and Australia. Beyond diving, her passions include hiking, swimming, dancing, and embracing the great outdoors.

Meet May, a dynamic and friendly soul at the front desk and the creative force behind our social media. As a Thai native, May is also our go-to person for any Thai translations we may need.

Growing up on the East Coast of Thailand, May’s love for the ocean is in her roots. Her dad, a local fishing boat captain, instilled in her a deep appreciation for the sea. After spending five years studying English and working in the bustling city of Bangkok, May decided to bring her love back to where she belongs.

Having visited Koh Tao more than 10 times and earned her Open Water through Rescue certifications right here in Koh Tao, she fell so in love with the island’s charm that she decided to call it home. Before joining us, May worked in a marketing agency, where she became a pro at digital community management and marketing. She’s like a matchmaker between brands and their audiences, building connections that really matter.

Beyond her diving adventures, May has a diverse set of interests – from traveling and reading books to surfing. Her love for Taylor Swift is something she’s proud of and loves to share. Once she starts talking about it, she won’t stop! May is also a loving dog mom to Archer (Archer’s name is also from Taylor Swift’s song), who adds an extra touch of warmth to our dive centre.

May, a proud member of Gen Z, is always on the lookout for the coolest and trendiest content. Skilled at tracking trends and creating high-quality content, May ensures our online presence is as vibrant and inviting as the underwater world she loves. Archer’s journey began when May adopted her from Kohkoh Pup, a rescued shelter on the island, ultimately leading her to the dive centre. With a wagging tail and undeniable charm, she stole the hearts of everyone she met. Her short legs, far from slowing her down, add an extra layer of cuteness and uniqueness to her personality.

Taking her role seriously, Archer ensures that everyone who walks through the dive centre doors instantly feels at home. While her short legs may not make her a deep-sea diver, they certainly make her a standout character, bringing joy and laughter to all who meet her. Archer is not just about charm; she’s also a dedicated safety patroller, ensuring everyone feels secure in the dive centre environment, even if it means barking at the cats.
