PADI Advanced Open Water

All essential equipment is included in the course fee, including free hire of a dive computer for all your dives. The internationally recognized PADI Advanced Open Water certification card, full equipment hire, and boat fees. You'll receive high-quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, and enjoy tea, coffee, water, and light refreshments on the boat and at the dive center, where WiFi is also available.

The PADI Avanced Open Water Diver course is scheduled over 1 and a half days.

Start: Sign up, pay deposit, start your e-eLearning

Day 1 – Starts at 9am with academic sessions. Expect around an hour’s break for lunch followed by 2 dives in the afternoon and a night dive.

Day 2 – Starts at 6:30 am where will go on our morning boat and you will complete your final 2 Open Water dives and return to the dive center for certification.

Prerequisites:

To take this course, you must be 12 years old. Hold a PADI Open Water diver certificate or equivilant and have adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.

Medical:

There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.

Flying after diving: 

Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.

The Advanced Open Water course pairs great with the Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver course. With only a little extra work, you can get certified to dive on Nitrox, allowing you greater bottom time, shorter surface intervals, and safer diving. this package includes 1 FREE nitrox tank for use on your Deep dive.

The PADI Eco-Advanced Open Water Course is an immersive 3-day program designed to elevate your diving skills while turning you into an active ocean advocate. Over 6 ocean dives in small, high-quality groups, you will earn two certifications: Advanced Open Water and PADI AWARE.

Day 1: Foundations & Control (09:15 – 16:00) — Focus on mastering buoyancy with Peak Performance Buoyancy and honing underwater navigation techniques.

Day 2: Exploration & Species Awareness (06:45 – 11:30) — Experience deep diving and learn marine ecology through Fish Identification and Underwater Naturalist training.

Day 3: Conservation in Action (09:15 – 16:00) — Engage in real citizen science by conducting underwater monitoring surveys and completing an AWARE specialty dive (choose between Shark & Ray Conservation or Dive Against Debris).
