PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba diving course and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. Our patient and dedicated Instructors will take you gradually through the concepts, building on what you have learned. This is your entry into the underwater world where you will enjoy the ocean’s diversity, experience the colorful reef, and meet all of its inhabitants.
The course has both in-water and academic components and includes all the elements required for completion: the PADI Open Water Diver E-Learning, full equipment hire, boat fees, high quality instruction from our experienced instructors, and, upon successful completion, an internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification. Computer hire for the duration of your course is also included at no extra charge, along with free tea, coffee, water, electrolytes, and light snacks on the boat, and free tea, coffee, water, and wifi in the dive centre.
Once completing the PADI Open Water Diver course with us at Master Divers you will become a lifetime customer, making you eligible for 10% on all of your future dive courses with ourselves.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The typical PADI Open Water Diver course is scheduled over 2 and a half to 3 days.
Start: Sign up, pay deposit, start your e-eLearning
Day 1 – Starts at 9am with academic sessions. Expect at least an hour’s break for lunch followed by an afternoon in the water learning your skills and techniques in the pool. Your day will be complete around 5:30pm
Day 2 – Starts at 9am with academic sessions. Your afternoon will be spent underwater completing your first 2 Open Water dives on some of the amazing sites around Koh Tao. Your day will be complete around 5pm.
Day 3 – Starts around 7am where will go on our morning boat and you will complete your final 2 Open Water dives and return to the dive centre for certification.

PADI Open Water Diver + PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Combo (Combine & Save)

IMPORTANT DETAILS
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
PREREQUISITES – To take this course, you must be 15 years old (or 10 years old for Junior Open Water Diver certification). You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
