• For your training, you are required to have your own set of PADI Staff Instructor materials from which you can study and refer. We offer these materials for just 15,000THB

• Upon completion, there will also be a further cost, payable to PADI directly for the Divemaster Application, of AUS$ 236.

During the IDC Staff Instructor program, you will master the PADI evaluation system. The course includes:

1. Pre-Assessment: A review of your dive theory knowledge and an evaluation of your instructor-level water skills.

2. Evaluation Training: Learning the objective criteria used to score academic, confined water, and open water teaching presentations.

3. Auditing an IDC: You will sit in on a full Instructor Development Course, practicing your evaluation skills on actual candidates while comparing your scores directly with our Course Directors.

4. Counseling Skills: Learning how to give constructive, positive feedback to help instructor candidates overcome teaching challenges.

To enroll in the PADI IDC Staff Instructor course, you must:

• Be an active, renewed PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT).

• Be an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor.

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Have a valid medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

You will typically spend 10 to 14 days completing your pre-assessments, evaluation training, and auditing the full IDC alongside our Course Directors.
