That’s it! We are closing our catch up of the Weekly Dive Site Reports from March 2020. But we are here to finish with a little Special Edition! The final dive trip we took, before closing our doors (temporarily) and going into self quarantine for a few weeks, was a special staff-only trip to Chumphon Pinnacle.
Both, our in-house photographer Danny, as well as General Manager Elaine took photos (and video clips) and we made a great little compilation which will help us remember this special day for a long, long time…
We were extremely lucky on that day! If you have been following our weekly updates on Koh Tao’s diving conditions, you would have noticed that the conditions have been rather mixed over the first 3 months of the year. On our final dives however, we have been blessed with flat sees and great visibility!
Throughout our video you might spot a few familiar faces which you would normally see in the dive shop (on the dry side) rather than under water… Can you recognize us with our masks on?
We completed both of our dives at Chumphon Pinnacle, with no rush to get back to land. Don’t blame us! Who wouldn’t love flying over carpets of healthy anemones rather than being back on land, having to deal with reality?!
At some point even the longest two dives are over and it was time to say Goodbye! for the time being. But don’t worry, we’ll be back underwater soon – this is just an extended surface interval for us…
Thanks for following our Weekly Dive Site Reports. We temporarily closed the dive shop in the end of March 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. We will be back open soon! In the meantime you’ll find a new blog post here once a week…
