Divemaster Internship

Upon completion of your Divemaster, we offer you the opportunity to stick around and learn more! This gives you some valuable work experience which will put you in good stead when looking for work.

You will be asked to undertake the things that you are now qualified for – leading dives and completing refreshers, for example. You will go out to do this with an experienced member of our team and get feedback on your performance so that your skills and techniques are continually developed.

You will also get exposure to the other aspects of the industry you are joining;

Sales and marketing techniques
Introduction to Compressor Operations
Equipment maintenance
Front of house
Assist with and manage an environmental project

We also offer full assistance with your new dive CV as well as job placement.

The internship gives you an insight into a few various aspects that will help you to be the best Dive Master you can be! This will include boat master session, front of shop and back office experience, assisting on Fun Dives and Scuba Refreshers etc.

The internship includes boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, very generous equipment discounts when purchasing your own kit, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat and tea, coffee, water and WiFi use in the dive centre too.

PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.

This Internship is offered free with the Career Divemaster Package and all our other career packages.

PREREQUISITES – To enrol in the PADI Divemaster Internship, you must have the PADI Divemaster certification, have current PADI membership and diving insurance. You must also be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
