PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy

Divers who have mastered their buoyancy are the ones that stand out.

You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend, or hover, almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. They are so efficient in the water and really seem to be at one with their environment.

This course will make so much difference to your diving techniques and make any other diving activity far easier to master. We truly feel that buoyancy and being in control is one of the most important aspects of diving and we love to promote good buoyancy and control here at Master Divers.

You will learn:

  • How to trim your scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water
  • Nuances in determining weight so you’re not too light nor too heavy by even a slight degree
  • How to streamline to save air and move smoothly through the water
  • How to hover effortlessly in both a vertical position and a horizontal position

This course is just 2 dives and can be completed in as little as a day. The morning will be spent understanding some theoretical concepts that will help you understand the principals of buoyancy and trim. The afternoon will be spent perfecting your skills and techniques and mastering your buoyancy.

The course includes all the elements required for completion: Internationally recognised PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat, tea, coffee, water, Wifi and internet station use in the dive centre.
