PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned, and develops new techniques and skills by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
After the course you’ll be able to dive to 30m/100ft, complete night dives as fun dives, and have a better understanding of your buoyancy and navigation skills underwater!

The typical Advanced Open Water Diver course schedule is run over two days, completing 3 dives on one day and 2 on the other.
The first day usually starts at 9am with a review of the study material contained in the PADI Adventures in Diving manual followed by an afternoon of 2 dives. The next day will cover any remaining study reviews and your final three dives.
If you would like to spread it over a longer period, or require different timings to suit your holiday then contact us and we can tailor a course to suit your needs.
There is no exam to complete on the advanced open water course. The course is geared towards practical experience and skills-based training underwater.
The course includes all the elements required for completion:- the PADI Adventures in Diving eManual, the internationally recognized PADI Advanced Open Water certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, tea, coffee, water and light refreshments on the boat, tea, coffee, water and Wifi use in the dive centre too.
Computer hire – for all 5 dives and torch rental – for the Night dive, are included at no extra charge.
Camera hire (1,500B for 2 Dives inc disc.) and DPV hire (1,800B) are not included in the price of the course.
*Please note optional dives outside our usual recommended course would be dependant whether we have an instructor available at the time with the credentials to teach that specific option.

The Advanced Open Water course pairs great with the Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver course. With only a little extra work, you can get certified to dive on Nitrox, allowing you greater bottom time, shorter surface intervals, and safer diving. this package includes 1 FREE nitrox tank for use on your Deep dive.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
PREREQUISITES – To take this course, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent qualifying certification from another training organisation) and at least 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver).
MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
