WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
PADI Open Water Diver Course – 2.5 to 3 Days
Getting Started
Sign up, pay your deposit, and begin your e-Learning course at your own pace.
Day 1 – Dive Into Learning
The day starts at 9 AM with an equipment fitting and a review of key diving knowledge to get you prepared. After a lunch break (at least an hour), you’ll spend the afternoon in the pool practicing essential dive skills. The day wraps up around 5:30 PM.
Day 2 – First Open Water Dives
We start at 9 AM with a quick review, then in the afternoon, you’ll head out for your first two Open Water dives at some of Koh Tao’s incredible dive sites. You’ll finish up around 5 PM.
Day 3 – Certification Day
We begin early at 6:30 AM, heading out on the boat for your final two Open Water dives. You’ll return to the dive center by late morning, leaving plenty of time to grab lunch and catch an afternoon ferry off the island.

IMPORTANT DETAILS
PAYMENT – Deposit is non-refundable. Balance to be paid in full upon arrival.
PREREQUISITES – To take this course, you must be 15 years old (or 10 years old for Junior Open Water Diver certification). You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
FLYING AFTER DIVING – Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
BEFORE BOOKING – Our team work hard to provide a safe, fun, efficient and well organized dive centre. We work hard to ensure your dive experience is a positive one. With this in mind, before booking, please read through the policies we have developed to help us ensure your time with us goes as smoothly as possible. Please note that the dive centre is closed 1st January, 14th April & 25th December. If any of these dates fall into your intended travel dates, please contact us first before booking.
